The offered range of Stainless Steel 304 Threaded Fittings has its applications in pulp & paper mills and also used in fabrication of stainless steel products. SS 304L Threaded Fittings is a companion grade to type 301 and type 302 and characterized by especially low carbon content while its chromium and nickel are somewhat higher. Stainless Steel 304L Threaded Fittings is less electrically and thermally conductive than carbon steel and is essentially non-magnetic. Stainless Steel 304 Threaded Forged Fittings is a T-300 series stainless steel austenitic, which has a minimum of 18 % chromium and 8 % nickel with a maximum of 0.08 % carbon.

Stainless Steel 304 Forged Threaded Fittings has forming and welding properties, along with corrosion / oxidation resistance thanks to the chromium content. Stainless Steel 304L Threaded Forged Tee does not perform well in more highly reducing environments such as those containing chlorides and sulphuric acid. Stainless Steel 304L Threaded Forged Cross erforms well in fresh water service with low levels of chlorides, whereas at higher chloride levels the grade is susceptible to crevice corrosion and pitting. Stainless Steel 304L Forged Fittings (UNS S30403) is recognized as 18/8 stainless because of their chemical configuration. SS 304L Forged Fittings is a T-300 series austenitic alloy, which has a least amount of 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel. It is fundamentally non-magnetic.
